Lodge Suite
$1700 per suite per night
Simple & elegant well- appointed suite with lake views and garden views. Of the 11 lodge suites, there is a Princess Anne Suite & a Prince Charles Suite (now King Charles III).
Included in your rate are:
- Your accommodation
- Daily fruit bowl
- Pre-dinner drinks followed by a 5-course gourmet dinner
- Full cooked country breakfast each morning
- Free golf play on the Estate’s private golf course during your stay. Carts and clubs available for hire and golf balls, tees & others available for purchase.
- Use of lodge WiFi
Minimum stay required: 2 nights

Rates are per suite per night
Queen Suite/ Emperor Suite
$2200 per suite per night
Only 1 of each suite, namely the English decore of the Queen Suite and the Oriental decore of the Emperor Suite. Each suite has an in-room spa bath.
The Queen Suite is named after QEII stayed at the lodge on her 2 tours. 1 of the tours
was wtih Prince Charles (now King Charles III) and Princess Anne.

Raffles Suite
$2850 per suite per night
Only 1 Raffles Suite which has a separate bedroom and living room. The decore is colonial British Empire of the Far East.
This suite is named after Sir Tomas Stamford Raffles, British East Indian administrator and founder of the port city of Singapore (1819), who was largely responsible for the creation of Britain’s Far Eastern empire. He was knighted in 1816.

Moose Suite
$3999 per suite per night
The Moose Suite is the Raffles Suite with an adjoining Lodge Suite and has 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a shared living room.
It is ideal for 2 couples or a family of 4.Included in your rate are:

Terms & Conditions
- All rates are quoted in New Zealand Dollars and include a 15% Goods & Services Tax imposed by the NZ Government.
- Rates are quoted per suite per night for a maximum occupancy of 2 guests per suite. The 2-bedroom Moose Suite is quoted for a maximum occupancy of 4 guests in the suite.
- We do not cater for extra beds in the suites.
- Full Board rates include your accommodation, a 5-course gourmet set menu dinner with daily menu changes, pre-dinner drinks and canapes, a hearty country breakfast and use of all lodge facilities. Note: the Spa & Golf Course are not included in your rates but are available for reservations. The 9-hole golf voucher per person is included in the quoted rates. These vouchers are non-transferable and non-redeemable for any other services or items. They may only be redeemed during your stay period.
- Rates are subject to confirmation at the point of reservation.
- The Estate’s private golf course is available for guests through the 9-hole vouchers included in your rates. Electric golf carts, trundlers and golf clubs are available for hire and other golf items are available for purchase.
- Minimum stay required: 3 nights
- A 35% surcharge applies to rates
- No arrivals or departures permitted on 24 &25 December and 31st December &1st January
- Arrival time is from 2pm – 5pm. Arrivals after 5pm or during Pre-dinner & Dinner service will require prior notice and arrangement. If no prior notice is given, your reservation will be considered as a “no show”. Please refer to Cancellations, No Shows & Refunds.
- Pre-dinner and Dinner times are at set times each day. No refunds are due for missed.
- Pre-dinner or Dinner service.
- Departure times may be any time before 11am.
- If you require an early breakfast and/or an early departure please inform us at the time of booking or on arrival. No refunds are due for missed breakfasts.
- Breakfast is served between 7am and 10am.
- Pre-dinner drinks are available from 6.30pm.
- Dinner is served from 7pm.
- If Pre-dinner is not included in the rates and you wish to enjoy Pre-dinner drinks and canapes, please inform us at the time of reservation or on arrival.
- All dinners are specially designed by our chefs daily and are on a set menu. If you have dietary requirements or restrictions, please inform us at the time of reservation so we may tailor your meals to suit you throughout your stay with us.
- Meals required outside of the stipulated hours must be arranged at the point of reservation and may incur extra charges for the separate service.
- No refunds will be made for any meals missed, including pre-dinner drinks.
- A young child who is 5 years or younger at the time of arrival may stay without charges if they share the same suite as the parents and occupy the same bed. Only 1 child is permitted to share the suite with the parents.
- Children between 6 and 12 years of age at the time of arrival will be required to have their own room either with 1 adult or a maximum of 2 children at the regular Suite Rate. No more than 2 children are permitted in a suite. No extra beds are available in any suite.
- Meals for children will be specially prepared by the chefs. If a child has special meal requirements, please inform us at the time of reservation. Meal times for very young children (5 years and younger) may be set for an earlier time.
- Children must be supervised at all times by the parents or an adult within the reservation.
- Baby-sitting & child minding services are available on request. Booking of a babysitter is essential and this has to be made at the time of reservation. Child-minding rates vary. Please enquire at the time of reservation.
- If children disrupt any meal service or are a verbal or physical disturbance to other guests at any time, the lodge staff reserve the right to request that the children be moved to a separate location and be under the supervision of a parent.
- Although dinner jackets for men and long evening gowns for women are not required at meal times, guests are expected in all shared areas in proper attire. Swimwear is not permitted in these areas.
- Jeans, tee-shirts, shorts, jandals (flip-flops), slippers, women’s dress showing inappropriate parts of the body, beltless trousers are just an example of attire not permitted in the shared areas of the lodge.
- Smart Casual Wear would be an acceptable general attire in these shared areas of the lodge.
- On the golf course, please refer to Golf Dress Code and Etiquette.
- Guests are not permitted to enter the kitchen or the bar at all times. The telephone extensions are 703 and 713 respectively.
- Cell phones:It is expected that all guests will be respectful of others while using cell phones and other forms of wireless communication. Guests may use their cell phones but are required to keep the ringers down as a respect to other guests.
- When accepting a call or making a call, guests are required to leave the room to do so.
- We take pride in our privacy requirements from our sta.. Our staff will not share any or part of what they see or hear with social media and other guest without the prior consent of ourguests.
Making a Reservation & Payment
- The full amount of the total reservation will be charged at the time of making the reservation.
- A valid credit card number will be required to complete the reservation. We accept only Visa &nMastercard credit cards where a bank surcharge of 2.5% applies.
- At the time of making your reservation please inform us of the following:
• Your Estimated Time of Arrival
• Where you will be arriving from (ie from another city in NZ or directly from an international airport in NZ).
• Your dietary requirements or restrictions. We serve a set menu dinner and will tailor to suit your dietary requirements for all your meals while you stay with us.
• Your onward travel arrangements, tours, sightseeing or activities in NZ.
Cancellations, No Shows & Refunds
- Cancellations made between 30 and 15 days prior to arrival date will incur a 50% cancellation fee for each night cancelled.
- Cancellations made 14 days or less prior to arrival date will incur a 100% cancellation fee for each night cancelled.
- If the guest does not arrive on the arrival date and has not made a cancellation of the reservation, 100% applies.
- If no prior notice is given for late arrivals after 5pm it will be considered a “no show” as well. A 100% cancellation fee applies to the total reservation even if the guest arrives the next day or any subsequent days within the originally booked dates. Ie your suite will be given up to other bookings.

- Cancellations made 30 days or less prior to arrival date will incur a 100% cancellation fee for each night cancelled.
